IWCF certification provides 3 levels:
The program is intended for specialists who hold key positions during drilling operations.
Level 2
- provides a basic understanding of the basic principles of well control. Designed for oil and gas equipment procurement specialists, engineering and technical personnel involved in the organization and conduct of well operations.
Duration of training – 4 days
IWCF final testing:
- Principles and Procedures
- Equipment
Level 3
– designed for drillers and drill assistants, equipment operators who must perform first-line actions to prevent or respond to an accident during well control.
Level 4
- designed for drilling managers, foremen, supervisors who directly control the well
Duration of training – 6 days
IWCF final testing:
- Principles and Procedures/ Principles and Procedures
- Equipment
- Practical assessment/ Practical exam (on a simulator)
Information
Upon achieving a score of 70% or more in each module, course participants receive international IWCF certificates.
The validity of the Level 2 certificate is 5 years, Level 3/4 – 2 years.
